: Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were superb. Location is perfect. The rooms are exceptionally clean. A real old world, traditional property.
: We made a mistake and pre-selected room 3 for a 7 night stay. Room 3 is VERY small and only suitable for a 1 night stay with overnight baggage. The sink is small and I outside the bathroom and not suitable for shaving or proper ablutions. The confirmation email needs to highlight the entry details as we have had to assist around 5 people gain access and find their room. It is critical to thoroughly read the welcome email from the property.

: No one to greet you. No one to give you directions as to where the breakfast would be. Nothing to tell us we had to ask to have our room made up. I guess it was in a book but we didn’t want wast time reading an instruction manual.

: The old atmosphere was great. It was nice to meet people from different countries by the breakfast table.Very nice and helpful staff. The location was perfect: quiet but very close to Stanley park and English bay.
