: Very spacious room. Location is good if looking to stay in the CBD. Just know that its busy shopping area.
: I did not find staff in the lobby / front desk to be friendly. I stayed there for 3 nights. I did not need their help but i was never acknowledged as I walked in and out of the hotel, never. A simple 'Good morning' would be nice.

: Food was okay. The service was a little slack. Waiting staff were hardly seen around and it took about 15mins since I sat down for a staff member to come around with coffee/tea pots and offer me a tea/coffee. They appear to not know or service their specific table areas.
: Service at the Ground floor guest area for breakfast. Ground floor cafe at reception by the lifts - took so long nearly an hour for our lunch order (small curry and sandwiches) to arrive yet there were only 2 tables plus us in the restaurant.

: Breakfast was stodgy but basically OH. Better up a block at Martin Pl. Location is excellent - the main reason we stioll go there.
: Surly foreign staff forgot cutlerry twice in the Mosaic, never offered water or bread, never apologised. Remedial English? Also, although I have enough money, overpriced: bottle of mineral water $18, glass of champagne at the bar $31. Why? Makes one feel stupid. And another thing: the new decor in the lobby and elsewhere is now rather awful, destroying the spirit of the old PMG building. The visiting Asians may not notice; the Australians will. The Marriott connection does little to endear the place to me. Not at the Martin Place.
