: We loved the location of The Russell, so convenient to all attractions in Sydney. We stayed in the Superior Deluxe Room and loved the block out curtains to the creaky floor!!! Breakfast was included and the atmosphere where we ate this was perfect. The Russell has so much character and charm.
: We were disappointed with the ‘old door’ between rooms (even though it’s original) because privacy is lacking due to this door. The couple in the adjoining room were having a conversation and we could hear every word (we went for a walk). Many stairs to go up and down with heavy suitcases to get to our room however we do understand it’s part of this beautiful old building.

: It was a lovely quaint boutique hotel. Room was well presented
: Bed was a little worn and dipped in the middle. Also, the air conditioning pumps in another part of the building rattled and vibrated through the room keeping us awake the 2nd night. When we mentioned it to reception the said it happened sometimes.... Don’t know why they haven’t fixed it...

: Absolutely loved the old-style charm of this hotel. The room was clean and I loved that I could open the window and lean out and look at what was going on in the street. It was so much fun! I loved the fact that the wardrobe had decent coat hangers that I could take out and put my clothes on rather than have to juggle wire coat hangers that don't come out of the wardrobe. The share bathroom was HUGE and always clean whenever I stepped into it. Breakfast was included in the price which made my stay such good value. I loved the Continental Breakfast. So easy and fresh for everyone. I am so happy that I have booked another stay (next week) and can't wait to get back there.
: Hmmm, nothing. It was perfect for me.

: Breakfast was fine. Espresso coffee would have nice and maybe poached eggs.
