  : The staff that I spoke with were friendly and the location if you're looking for something central is good.
  : The place as a whole was very run down, with a less than ideal check in process. If you're later than 10pm you'll get charged $80. There was only a hand towel in the room, with old curtains and everything felt really dated

  : We have stayed here a few times now as our little back up place. Pretty basic but comfortable and great location. Quiet also which is a bonus considering the location. Always friendly staff as well.

  : The location was great. So close to Central Station.
  : Booked a room for 4 adults (their executive suite meant for 6 people) - got 2 bathtowels & half a roll of toilet paper. No tissues. Never got the bathmat or facewashers we requested. Managed to get 2 more towels. No remote for the air-con. Black feet from walking on the floor. Bathroom flooded & blocked exhaust fan. 1 small mirror in hot, foggy bathroom for 4 women to do hair & makeup! Bathroom door was a shower screen! So you could see the person on the toilet! Private courtyard still had previous guests rubbish & glass doors were filthy. And the only view was 3 tall, grey cement walls. Cupboards were broken. 2 coffee mugs for 4 people. Poor service when we asked for "extras" that should've been there. We stayed 2 nights & our room wasn't serviced at all. Had to call & ask for more toilet paper once our half-a-roll ran out. No spare rolls in the bathroom drawer, although there was lots of someone elses hair in there & a filthy, broken hair dryer. And after all that, charged us $35 to leave our suitcases there until we caught the train!

  : The rooms were comfortable and the facilities were nice.
  : The noise in the alley way outside my window was ridiculous. Night club music, kids playing loud music, etc. Neighbours down the hall were also partying until 4am one night. Also no 24 hour management or phone to ring down to reception. No utensils for eating in the rooms besides water glasses and a kettle. Staff weren’t all that friendly and I never received an email back for a query I put in.

  : Maybe one of the only good things I can tell about this hotel is that the rooms are big.
  : Where should I start from? This was one of my worst experiences of staying in a hotel. I am quite surprised that such a low level of service - both staff and room service - is given in Australia. Comparing to other hotels I have been to in Australia, with more or less the same price per night, this hotel was the worst.First of all, we checked in during the night and the room was full of cockroaches, big and small, as it seems that they came up directly from the sewage or so. The staff however could not care less, and after many complaints, we only got a insecticide, and they said that the room service will take of it tomorrow. However, the room service barely did anything, and everyday the room was full of bugs. No to mention other issues: during midnight people (and I suspect some of there were the guys who work for the room service) were cooking on the same level, so every night around 11pm to 12am we heard noises from the kitchen and strong smells got inside our room. What a lovely experience.Another awkward thing is that the hotel holds the right to charge 200AUD for "safety" policy, which I do not remember was mentioned when I booked in on Booking. They withhold the money for a few days after the check-out. And of course, the rooms were not clean, and many times the room service did not change the towels, and it was a normal thing to see people come to the reception everyday to complain about problems in the room.Unfortunately I booked a room there for the second time in advance, as I went for one day to Canberra. So when we got back I asked to get a different room, one without cockroaches, but we could get it only the day after, as we did. The story does not end here. In our last night, before our flight to Melbourne in the early morning, one of the staff almost burst into our room because the guy from the room with the cockroaches was looking for the insecticide.
