  : Good spot
: None of the (shared) bathrooms worked, I went downstairs to the other bathrooms and had to wait in a towel. More a hostel than a hotel

: Close to circular quay. Cheapest we found!
: Squeaky/ creaky beds and floor boards. Could gear every step and each time someone turned over. Single pane windows that didn't close properly didn't shut out any of the sound from the harbour bridge.

Traveller Type: young couple
: The location was good, the pub was lively and the continental breakfast was OK
: Far too noisy, the room is very very noisy from the pub and afterwards the street and traffic are noisy and it is difficult to get any sleep. Also we did not expect shared bathrooms. I will add this is partly my fault for not realising it was a backpackers, I should have done my homework better but I did not read the reviews until afterwards. We only stayed the one (Thursday) night out of the 4 we had booked, I had to then get another hotel at additional cost to get some rest. It may be quieter mid-week but we could not imagine sleeping there on a friday or saturday night. I expect it is three star for a backpackers but it is not a three star hotel
