: Great location, close to many shops and restaurants. Staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. It was VERY clean. We had to share a bathroom with 3 other rooms but did not present an issue. Things were cleaned right away. Not a big reception area, but sufficient. For anyone who can’t do stairs with heavy luggage would be cumbersome. Not much for hanging clothes. Great beds for comfort. Air was nice to have. Sink in room was handy. Not all plugs worked in room. Small fridge was handy. Good supply of towels. Need facecloths. They supplied umbrellas in the lobby. Locked front door at 7:30 pm made you feel safe. Used room card to enter and each guest was assigned a room card. Would recommend this hotel. We were a grip of 3 so had xtra bed in room.

: Amazing location. Beautiful old Art Deco building that has been refurbished into a stylish and modern boutique style hotel. The little extra touches are perfect and the staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to ensure the best stay possible. Thank you ladies.
: For the sound sensitive; I recommend having a chat with staff when you book about which rooms may be the quietest. They are happy to accommodate you. As it’s an old Art Deco building, it can be noisy from other rooms. Also Macklay street is a super hustling and bustling noisy street and this may affect you if you sleep lightly.

: loved the rooms. Lovely snacks and comfy beds. Very quaint and well decorated.
: The only difficult was the shared bathroom. Didn’t quite find the cleanliness up to standard. Lots of strands of other people’s hair and Bobby pins left in the shower. We bought our own disinfectant and cleaned the toilets and showers. Wouldn’t recommend booking it in this way.

: The location was great for us, we liked the tea and coffee supplied. You need to put a light over the bAsin, near the mirror in the room
: Some power points didn’t work. Some other guests always left lots of water on the floor, didn’t wipe up after their shower. A note asking guests to ‘leave the bathroom as they would like to find it’

  : Location
: There was no compensation for a service term NOT honored! There was NO WiFi at the place! I suggested a room upgrade or partial reimbursement but it fell on deaf ears..and that is pretty much the response of the staff..I told them on day 1 that there was no soap or hand wash in the washbasin. The receptionist said she would fill it right away and nothing till the day I left...The hotel is actually a 2star motel that demands understanding of their guests for their situation but doesn't realize it should be the other way around in the hospitality business. They are in the wrong profession. There's no one on desk from 7 pm to 9 am! There are no outlets to connect! I had to remove the lamp to charge my phone.
