: Handy for Kings Cross Station..
: Foyer, stairs and landings were tatty and dirty. Sleezy area, felt vulnerable. Hotel worker sitting smoking pot in door way of hotel on return in the evening. Insufficient crockery. Windows filthy with broken blind. Could not get TV to work. Bathroom shelf so wonky you couldn't stand anything on it. Lift very old and noisy. Communal kitchen dusty and dirty. Air conditioning unit old and very dirty.

: Brilliant location.Facilities adequate (eg only two pillows - no spares, no spare blankets, etc. Clean and spacious.
: I booked through and was charged through my credit card for the night. One week later, when we were at the hotel, we were charged again. I am still working at getting a refund.

: The hotel is only 3 minutes walk from King Cross Station. Surrounding is perfect for tourist. Halal kebab is just 50meters walk! A lot of pub and bar. Also metro mart
: Guest need to check out before 10. Other than that i give 5 stars!

: Ideal location for bars, restaurants, shops and the train station, all within 1-5 minute walk without the impact of any noise.Staff were friendly and the rooms had good facilities (air-con, microwave, fridge, TV, kettle, coffee/tea, free wifi as well as free toiletries: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving gel and body moisturiser)There was also a kitchen, laundry facilities and a rooftop area for smoking available although I didn’t use these.
: Although the room was clean, there were cockroaches every night, normally just a couple apart from the last night when there were 10.2 tins of bug spray were used in 2 weeks. There was also a strong smell of incense on the ground floor

: This smallish hotel doesn’t appear inviting from the outside - the front door area is a little tired and the interior not your flash boutique style guest house. However, when you get to your room you’ll see it’s got everything but French champagne! My room was surprisingly well equipped with microwave, a good size fridge, clean shower, flat TV, free Wifi, a cupboard stocked with glasses, cutlery, aircon, comfy beds, crisp linen etc etc. - again I have to emphasise not to judge by taste regarding colour sense or age of the interior. Considering the price, the prime location, the olden KingsX days still lingering in the air once you step outside - the Lido Suites is an absolute winner in my book. Staff are very helpful and accommodating, indeed so different to the impersonal, sterile 5 star bunkers across the city, here you get it from the heart. A real “Cross-close- up-experience”.
: The property needs upgrading. Or a coat of paint and a new carpet. Of course the feel about it would be lost if it was renovated to death. This usually doesn’t work. But a paint job wouldn’t hurt. Having said that, the price is unbeatable. It’s excellent value overall!
