: The rooms were closer to the beach than I initially thought, and being able to use the Sand Dunes pool and facilities was a big plus. The beds were so comfortable! The rooms were very well decorated, the color schemes were nicely done. Fee WiFi! A TV in each room as well as the living room went over very well with my teens. The stocked kitchen was also very nice!
: One roll of thin toilet paper per bathroom was not nice, but I had planned ahead and brought plenty more. The water to one toilet was shut off when we got there, and had a slow leak when we turned it on, but I was able to stop it by turning a screw inside the toilet tank...a new seal will be needed before long. The sliding door to one balcony did not slide closed well, we had to shimmy and lift with force each time we went to close it. Off site laundry...in the Ocean Dunes facility though, so not too far away.

  : Location was good.
: Unit was dirty upon arrival, the cleaning crew had to be called back in to clean the floor and cabinets. Refrigerator was not working so maintenance had to be called to fix that. The cable was not working in the living room. The listing said we had a washer and dryer, there wasn't a washer/dryer so we had to go off property to do laundry. The beds were awful, the frames were very loose and flimsy. We had to clean the air conditioning filters in the bedroom unit which looked like they hadn't been touched in months.

: We loved the decor and location. Property manager and staff were great. The size of the apartment holds my family great. There is many pools that can be used but the one in front of the apartment is never crowded and just the right size to entertain my kids aging from 4 to 15.
: The add says washer and dryer... you must trek through the parking lot to the main hotel and wash your clothes for $2.00 per load and $1.25 a load. The ad suggested that it was onsite but it isn't and we found the coin machines were down. While this isn't a huge problem it is a pain and could be better planned out if the guest knew the unit did not have a washer and dryer and that a trek would be needed. The comforters haven't been washed in what seem like ages. ( same ones used a year ago) One reeked of urine. The cleaning business does very little! We found the carpet not vacuumed (popcorn kernels, tags, and even a toe nail) while sitting on the floor putting away clothes. The toilets were not cleaned and one toilet even had scoots in it. Yet they put paper across the lid as if it was. There was hair in the tubs and wall of tubs. Soap scum covered the shower doors. On the floor of the master bathroom there was dirty foot prints all over the floor, like someone had just walked in front the beach. All in which we were trying to look over. The kicker ( so we thought) was when we opened the fridge door. The last visitors left spilled food all over the shelves. The stove was even crusted over with food. We made the decision to call the cleaning company directly which is what they ( property manager) wants. The woman who answered the phone was super nice and said that she would send someone out there to correct the issues. About 45 minutes later a woman was knocking on the door. " Someone called and complained" was the first thing she said, rudely at that. She was carrying a basket with a glove, bottle of fablouso mixed, and a rag. Caught me off guard but I let her in. I showed her the fridge and she said "oh I need to take a picture of this". She scraped the sticky stuff out of the fridge, wiped off the knife and simply placed it back in the drawer. It ( knife) didn't even get a proper washing.

: The space and the memories made over the years
: The master bedroom mattresses were so pitted and flat. Very un comfortable. (We reported them last year) The facility hasn’t been updated in the 5 years we have been coming there. Down to even the bed spreads! Nothing has changed. The pool is cleaned by dunes but they didn’t clean it the entire time we stayed. The staff just clean around the pool and added more chemicals. No vacuuming. The provided washer is shot. Had to walk to dunes to wash clothes.
