: I hadn't really looked at the information about the place, I was just looking for something affordable, with a good ratings. So when I opened the door to find a full kitchen (which I later learned came with eating and cooking utensils, a pot and pan, as well as plates, bowls, and glasses, I was immediately overcome with happiness.
The place is clean, is well taken care of, and the furniture comfortable. You can not go wrong with this place, unless you are expecting more than what is realistic from a place that is not a fully staffed resort.
Another thing I was immediately happy about, your room is only cleaned once a week. I personally don't need the linens changed every day, so this suited me just fine.
: The pillows were too soft. But that is a personal preference. Nothing against the owners.
But, I did have an incident with the heater. I tried to turn it up to 75° my first night, as I get cold easily. Being this is Myrtle Beach, I don't suspect too many will do this while it's still in the warm months. But I did, and the heater wasn't ready for it. It burned the dust and some old oil (or something), and so it set off the smoke detector. O.O
It turned off not even a minute later, but I was worried a fireman would come crashing through the door the rest of the night.
But again, I don't blame the owners for this. They hadn't expected anyone to need to turn up the heat, while it was still nice out. :p
